Aswat Nissa is a nongovernmental organization of Tunisian law. Founded in 2011, it is independent from political influence. Inclusive, it calls for the integration of gender in public policy in Tunisian women to wear their voices and take their rightful place in public and political life. "Aswat Nissa" translates from Arabic to French by "women's voices".

A society adhering to the ideals of social justice, respect for the dignity of the person, in accordance with the universal values of human rights.A society in which all individuals are responsible and equal before the law and have equal opportunities and effective citizenship.
Mission

The mission Aswat Nissa comes in four areas:

Fight against all forms of discrimination based on gender;
Work towards promoting a culture of equality;
Encourage women's participation in political life through the consolidation of their skills and support their leadership;
Advocate for the integration of a gender perspective in public policies.

A group of women and men who, despite their differences of opinions, work together for a common goal: enabling Tunisian women (all origins, all backgrounds and all levels) to raise its voice and take in society the rightful place.
We dream of a society where women are truly the equal of man. We dream of a society where the woman is an active partner for the construction of a Tunisia fair to all his children. We dream of a woman aware of his rights and fighting for them, a woman aware of its duties and fulfilling them so hard.
Utopia? Perhaps we believe that social change is not accomplished at once dreams and utopias.
