Al Zubair Charity Foundation (ZCF) is one of the Sudanese voluntary organizations that established strongly and takes its prominence place in the humanitarian field in March 1998. The Foundation as International voluntary organization work in different field of voluntary work to activate the role of the public and aim to strengthen humanitarian cooperation and Takaful (solidarity) and reinforce the national unity and disseminate peace culture and establishment, care of general services centers, awareness raising amongst the people and be able to blueprint in the field of humanitarian work to many countries. In Sudan, implemented many programmes in the field of relief, social welfare towards the poor and needy through programmes and projects orphan, seasonal projects like breakfast for fastening, school bags, Eid happiness, sacrifices, educational, health, cultural activities, drinking water, building mosques, health clinics, water wells and pumps, schools in different states of Sudan and areas of war affected. In the field of health the foreign doctors continued to provide their clinical and surgeries operation freely.

Objectives & Means

1) Enhancing the social solidarity and humanitarian cooperation amongst individuals and groups of society by supporting and helping poor, needy and vulnerable, and guardianship of orphans, care of widows, disabled, homeless, helping the needy and providing the social, educational and health services.

2) Strengthening the national unity and assuring confidence amongst all the Sudanese people by spreading and dissemination of peace culture and supporting efforts to achieve peace and participation in reconstruction and rehabilitation in areas affected by war.

3) Supporting, finishing and completion of projects being commenced by the martyr Al Zubair Mohamed Salih and caring for these projects

4) Spreading and disseminating awareness amongst civilization, culturing them within and raising their awareness of national issues within the civilization orientation of the nation

The foundation shall take the following means to achieve its objectives:

1) Establishment of services, social, educational, research, health and economic institutions

2) Conducting the scientific studies and formulating plans and projects based on site and field data

3) Establishing investment projects so as to develop and maximize the financial resources of the foundation

4) Attracting the financial and technical support from the local, international, governmental or non-governmental organizations and institutions and from all Sudanese individuals

5) Strengthening relation and ties with the individuals interested in voluntary work and the benevolent inside or outside the country

6) Disseminating books, publications and periodicals and utilizing the radio and TV medias in awareness of the message of the Foundation and realizing its aims and objectives

7) Caring for creative and talent persons and allocating prizes for that purpose
