Founded as an initiative in 2008, Ali Dahmash began his journey by collecting donations from his various contacts and delivering them to underprivileged families in need thus becoming a link between the two parties. With time a blog was created to post about different cases, keep people up to date with the needs, invoices of purchased items and all the different stories. An educational fund grew spontaneously out of the need of support for students to continue their education.

On the 12th of June 2012, Under My Olive Tree was registered at the ministry of industry and trade as a limited liability not for profit company under the number of 200126852 with Mr. Samih Toukan as Chairman of the Executive Board and Mr. Ali Dahmash as General Manager.

The objective of Under My Olive Tree is to make each and every single person aware of the change they can create in the local society.

It promotes social activism, volunteering, the right of education and sustainable projects in less privileged areas in Jordan.

Under My Olive Tree has the following programs:
