A civil society specialized in food, licensed by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (License No. 600) as the first food bank in the Kingdom and the Gulf region.

“Eta’am” (Saudi Food Bank) was established in 2011 in the city of Dammam under the name of the Charitable Association for Food in the Eastern Province with the aim of saving grace from waste. In the middle of 2021, a ministerial approval was issued to develop the association’s activity and objectives, and change its name to become the Saudi Food Bank Association (Etaam).

The headquarter is located in the city of Dammam in the Eastern Province, and it has branches in Riyadh, Jeddah, Al-Ahsa, and Jubail Industrial, and mobile distribution units in Abqaiq Governorate, and Ras Al-Khair Center in the Eastern Province.

The “Eta’am” business model aims to build effective strategic alliances to benefit from the surplus food resources, and distribute them to beneficiaries, in addition to offering various packages of community initiatives specialized in the field of food support, and the provision of safe and sustainable food for people with special social conditions and people with limited income.

“Eta’am” logistics operations are managed with high efficiency through carefully qualified human cadres, developed logistical and marketing mechanisms, and modern technical tools, to contribute to providing the best services to customers with high quality.
