Rose of Jerusalem is a non governmental, non political, non profitable association depending mostly on volunteer work. It looks after handicapped and children with special needs aiming to integrate them into local community after treatment and rehabilitation.

Over View

   Rose of Jerusalem Charitable Association is a Palestinian independent, non – governmental, and non profitable organization. It was established in December 2002, and is registered by the Ministry of Interior as well as the ministry of social welfare, and it is registered as a member in the Palestinian Union of Charitable Associations.

Rose of Jerusalem Charitable Association strives to provide with social, cultural, Educational and sport services to the local community at the regions of Aizariah, Abu- Deis, Al-Sawahrah Al-Sharqiah, Al-sheiq Sa'ed, and Arab Al-Jahaleen, especially for children who suffer from disabilities, and those with special needs to help and rehabilitate and to integrate them within the local community. It depends mostly on voluntary works.

Our Mission:

The mission of the RJCA is to assure through the development and support of high quality system, that handicapped children and those with special needs and their family obtain comprehensive care and service which are family-centered, community –based and culturally sensitive.

 Our Objectives:

(RJCA) strives to achieve the following objectives:

To work towards the development of local service available to individuals with special health care needs in the fields of health, psychology, education and social services, and to provide direct and indirect support for their parents and their families.
To promote public awareness of the reasons of disabilities, the prevention ways, how to deal with it, and to overcome obstacles in education, rehabilitation and employment of the handicapped.
To help women in the region in improving their social, educational, health and economic conditions and to ensure their right to play an active role in all aspects of their lives as well as offering them the needed services.
To take children away from the points of tension and struggle, and to insure their rights of playing, education, and living in dignity freely as other children in the world, and to develop their talents and potentials.
To concentrate on and encourage extracurricular educational and cultural activities, (civic education).
To reinforce a democratic society that is based on social justice and gender equality.
