Mission
DERB is organized around 3 areas of activity:
A. The Debate: its goal is to enrich the reflection and the promotion of sustainable development in trying to bring citizens closer to the area of decision-making centers.
B. The making available of resources is a resource center available to policymakers made ​​available for civil society. This pole is made ​​through reflection groups (local / national actors, academics, business leaders, project managers, etc.);
C. Sharing knowledge: its role is to define, clarify and disseminate the concepts and issues of sustainable development (think tank and training). With in-house expertise and a network of experts, DERB collects and disseminates Tunisian and European experiences of sustainable development. It also performs work for evaluation and analysis of public policies, experiences, methods and tools for sustainable development.
Description: DERB contributes to sustainable development and its promotion by supporting the implementation of projects sustainable development in the Bizerte region. DERB tries to advance the public debate in parallel with the public reflection for this regional space. General DERB is also a space for reflection, exchange, use and dissemination practices for citizenship and sustainable development. Potential players DERB are: - Local actors of sustainable development policies; - National and international decision makers; - Civil society - and all who are interested in the development of our dear region Bizerte. DERB is at the crossroads several Tunisian networks, African, European and international:

- Network of regional development associations;
- Network of environmental associations;
- Network of international development organizations.
