Qatar Society of Engineers (QSE) - formerly called "The Forum of Qatari Engineers" - is a professional non-profit association, established and registered on 27 January 2007 by the Ministry of Social Affairs as part of the Qatari Law No.12 for the year 2004 with respect to initiation of Societies and Private Corporations.

The QSE objectives can be summarized in the following: Contribute to the cultural, industrial, urban and agricultural development in the country. Developing the technical & administrative competence of the workers within the Engineering sector and improving the level of Engineering profession through co-operation and coordination with the related Government and Private bodies.

Close cooperation with the educational and academic bodies in the State that contribute to the upgrading of the profession and the professionals.
Contribute to the transfer of technology through cooperation with local and global bodies.
Provide the necessary training for workers in the engineering sector.
