We shall contribute to services and developing Palestine marginalized and poor groups, based on advanced concepts and best practices and utilizes highly qualities .

General Information:

The PCR is Gaza-based NGO. It works with Refugees Communities, camp based groups all over Gaza Strip. Its mandate based on three interrelated areas namely Research, advocacy and campaign as well as Training and development. Current staff includes 4 full times. 6 part time, and 8 volunteers. The Budget varies yearly depending on the funding available. USAID, NED, QATAR government was the major three donors in the last three years. Programs aim at empowering youth, women and children in the refugee’s communities through providing them with the techniques and tools to upgrade and promote their life so they can sustain it well during crises. Youth clubs and small organizations in the camps do cooperate closely with the PCR upon MoUs.

Mission and Objectives:

Vision: Stressing the significance of commonly adopted values and principles in conjunction to maintaining a solid shield protecting Palestinian Refugees Rights.
Mission: The PCR's mission puts emphasis on gathering immediate support to Palestinian Refugees aiming at decreasing their suffering and maintaining their interests in a fair manner.

Palestinian Commission for Refugees PCR is an independent, community-oriented, non-governmental organization that was established by community and public leading figures (a group of activists) in Gaza Strip in 2002. PCR is licensed under number (7259) by Palestinian National Authority Ministry of Interior. PCR is the first and the only non-governmental organization concerned with Palestinian refugee affairs in the Gaza Strip.. The PCR works in light of the Human Rights Declaration, Geneva Conventions and all related Humanitarian Laws which are concerned with the significant needs of Palestinian Refugees in terms of advocacy, training, development, and research issues by emphasizing various critical aspects namely, public Participation and Good Governance. The major area of PCR’s interest includes but is not limited to most aspects closely related to Palestinian Refugees in and outside Palestine.

3.Researching those aspects & changes concerning Palestine refugees, youth and community as a whole.
4.Contributing to highlighting key relevant issues and Palestine concerns of refugees within the media.
5.Contributing to enhancing the living welfare of the poor and mitigating their poverty.
6.Societal empowerment of women and youth.
7.Empowering & offering capacity building to the teens' niche.
8.Contributing to improved child welfare, better health, and entertainment
