Intilaaqah Egypt is a Shell sponsored initiative based on the Shell LiveWIRE programme. Launched in January 2004 the programme offers high-quality training, advice, and support to young nationals who wish to start their own businesses.

Intilaaqah Egypt aims to support youth development and encourage young people, between the age of 18 and 32, to set up their own business. The programme raises awareness of starting a business among young people, and builds capacity, particularly among young unemployed people, to become self-employed. In addition, Intilaaqah Egypt is aiding entrepreneurship development (especially in top performing sectors; market based approach) and including local content where applicable.
