The GFRH is dedicated to promoting the culture of pluralism and diversity; disseminating the values of tolerance and mutual understanding among the Lebanese, Arab and global youth; and building the capacities to ensure human development, educate on citizenship and social cohesion and facilitate the creation of better opportunities for marginalized groups.

The GFRH works towards:

Disseminating the values of freedom, tolerance, equality, peace and brotherhood, rejecting extremism, sectarianism, racism, and hatred among the Lebanese, Arab and global youth, in addition to the promotion of pluralism accompanied with awareness and training on the management of diversity in its various aspects.
Enhancing communication, convergence and dialogue, contributing effectively to inter-religious dialogue and engaging actively in civil society issues, through the organization of seminars, conferences, exhibitions and related activities that enhance cohesion, social integration, acculturation and interaction among citizens.
Contributing to development by building the capacities of local communities, consolidating volunteerism and solidarity, responsibility and social care, and promoting citizenship.
Promoting, protecting and reinforcing dialogue and communication, human rights and minorities, children causes, and women empowerment, through effective cooperation and networking with sister associations and forums on the local, regional and international levels.
Strengthening cooperation and exchange of expertise among members in order to better serve the national, educational, social, environmental, cultural and development issues, while enhancing talents and providing financial and moral support to marginalized groups.
Promoting cultural and scientific awareness through the contribution to educational, cultural, scientific and research initiatives and projects, and the organization of specialized training courses targeting diverse groups.
