Tunisian Handball Federation is the organization that manages the practice of handball in Tunisi e. It replaced in 1956 with Tunisian Handball League attached to the French Handball Federation.

The first committee, formed in October 1956, is composed of Jalel Agha (Chairman), Mohsen Klibi and Jacques Mounier (Vice-Presidents) Serge Tourenq (Secretary General), Hédi Malek (Assistant General Secretary), George Meimoun (treasurer-general) and Mohamed Ouahchi (Deputy Treasurer). Lack of executives at the time of take handball to serve on the following committees, like Moncef Hajjar, Slaheddine Hajjar, Ahmed Dhib Sadok Lahmadi or Abdellatif Dhib, causing inconsistent statutes problems: they are Indeed both players, coaches and federal leaders; the regulatory authority therefore dissolved the federal office on August 21, 1959.

While the differences between the federal members still seem to characterize most committees, the federation is often the subject of dissolutions and resignations. Nevertheless, handball which is hardly found at the dawn of independence (200 graduates in 1956) currently has more than 10,000 practitioners in Tunisia.
