Founded in 1958, the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Mauritania (CCIAM) has become the end of the 2000/04 Act of January 17, 2000, a public institution with professional character, having legal personality and financial autonomy, whose main mission is to supervise and represent the economic interests of commercial, industrial, agricultural, fishing and service delivery to the public authorities.

To accommodate the new international environment and better meet the expectations of business, the CCIAM was restructured to support the development of the country, fully play its role of public / private interface, and give new impetus to the private sector.

This new dynamic has allowed consular House to sign over 72 memoranda of cooperation agreements with external partners and organize several workshops and seminars.
