CREDIF is a space created to integrate women in sustainable development programs. For that purpose, it provides many services related to research, studies and workshops. CREDIF makes available for people and institutions concerned with women’s issues:
A specialized and computerized library including indexes, books, periodicals, press files (subjects related to development, family, literature, economy…).
Databanks:
RIF: National Information Network on women including information and references about women in Tunisia.
REMIF: Information Network on women including information and references about women in Maghreb.
Bchira Ben Mrad: more than 2000 lists, concerned with population, education, vocational training, employment, economic activities, health care, public and political life.
LEGIS: Databank including all legislations related to Tunisian women from 1956 up to now.
ZAZIA: Database of women organizations and associations in Maghreb including about 400 institutions.
IBDAA: Data base of creative women (poets, painters, novelists…).
PERIO: the database includes about 400 titles in French and 300 titles in Arabic.
CREDIF’s publications are varied and intended for different target populations. CREDIF organizes regular training sessions on Gender at the national or international levels in which interested persons could participate. CREDIF also provides exhibition halls, conference and training rooms.
