The Arab Centre for Citizenship and Democracy (ACCD) is an independent regional, non-governmental, which aims to support Arab countries in transition in their efforts to implement the foundations of a participatory and peaceful democracy.

based in Tunisia, ACCD aims to promote democratic values and best practices and develop capa cities of citizens in dialogue, prevention and peaceful resolution of disputes and the fight against violence and discrimination. Convinced that informed and engaged citizens is the best guarantee of an enlightened and accountable governance, the ACCD has chosen initially to target in his campaigns of training and awareness, women and school children without which democratic transitions can not register in time.
