The Bahrain Red Crescent Society was established in 1970. This national Society was established and registered with the concerned government authorities and a charter was issued by His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Amir of Bahrain on 29th June 1970. The Society was internationally recognised by the Red Cross International Committee and Red Crescent and the Red Cross International Association on 14th September, 1972. The Bahrain Red Crescent Society became No. 116 member of the International Group.Year by year, Bahrain Red Crescent Society continues its big efforts, and always seeks to help the needy people, in any place with social assistance, liberal helping and humanitarian activities as much as possible.
