AWTAR society for culture and arts is an independent non- governmental organization founded in September 2008 by a group of Palestinian professionals whom concerned about social activities for children and youth affairs within their community. The non-profit organization based in Nablus City dedicated to serve all citizens regardless of religious or political affiliations provide with different services varied from psychological, cultural, educational and social support.

Although a young and small society, Awtar became known by its ability to deliver quality services responding to priority needs of Nablus Directorate community.

Main Objectives

1) The provision of psychological, social, educational, and non-educational programs for children& youth under 16 years of age.

2) The establishment & development of children learning power to improve mental abilities of Palestinian children, and achieve proper solid musical training & education for children from grades(6-12)

3) To contribute to the increase in the proportion of Training center children enrollment and learning achievement.

4 ) Provide supportive environment for after school activities for children in the most affected areas.

5) Promoting psychological, social, culture, educational learning in youth friendly environment.

6) Promote gender Equality and empower skills and talents.

7) Provide various culture services compiled of Musical, painting, theoretical and practical educational services, to students of special needs at Nablus directorate community.

KEY SERVICES

The Center

Established on 2008 for children under 16 years of age to secure quality training educational/psychological environment and child friendly atmosphere s. The center conduct numerous activities including educational and non-educational programs, implementing various painting and instrumental training courses, cultural awareness reaching at least 500 Palestinian child during the passed year with key educational message on keep youth talent ahead via all the year days. This included educational books, drawing competitions and drawing books for younger children, recreational activities that implied summer camps courses targeting large number of children aggregated to approximately 500 child from 6-15 years as well as adolescents.
The center consists of different sections encompass:
Painting/Music/drawing/training sections
The center activities formulate the mechanism of middle childhood development through morning and afternoon shifts all around the year. Awtar activities & functions resemble vital corner stone medial connection between community & affiliated children crown succeeded by the achievement of spectacular and intrinsic educational level on various musical and instrumental devices for 80 center students, promoting the importance of musical education vital role in reducing intellectual disperse. Student educational painting program and courses/psychological relief education, quality musical and training services.
4) Fostering positive trend towards surrounding community &environment.
5) Develop partnership among various local & foreign counterpart organizations and participate in regional and international painting and musical events & exhibitions and to exchange experience of recent creativeness & innovations.
6) The creation of Ballet Theater subsidized with advanced technical equipment to promote human arts awareness and related issues
