The objectives of the association are:

1) The control and monitoring and the electoral process, whatever its kind (municipal, parliamentary, presidential, constitutional referendum ...) in order to ensure its consistency with the principles of democracy, specifically on the principles guaranteeing freedom, integrity, transparency and fairness of the process elec toral. 2) the contribution to the improvement of Tunisia's electoral system, the point of the texts governing the elections, and participation in the electoral code reform programs to ensure compliance with international standards of freedom and democracy of the elections and its suitability with the international treaties of the Republic of Tunisia in this field. 3) Raise awareness and educate citizens about their rights and obligations relating to the concept of democracy in general and the electoral system in particular. 4) Creating a data bank on regulations and laws on elections in Tunisia, and provided internationally about democracy, freedom, fairness, integrity and transparency of electoral processes. 5) Perform various activities such as conferences, seminars, forums and training seminars and workshops related to the concept of local democracy and the elections in favor of civil society, especially children and young people in schools and colleges and universities.
