nsemble is an association of law 1901, created in 1981 by professionals in the Psychotherapeutic Centre of Nancy, under the impetus of Mr. Doctor Colmin, the adult sector psychiatrist.

This creation is legally based on the circular of 4 February 1995 that allows healthcare facilities to use an association to organize some activities to improve the lives of patients: occupational therapy workshop, parties, stays outside the walls ... the relationship between hospitals and associations are governed by an agreement setting out the tasks and the financial means to achieve them.
