The association El Mokhtar, created in 2011, aims to promote welfare through improved terms sco lar and health of pupils and Tunisian students. Education is crucial for the development of responsible citizens, enabling them to face the trials of life in the society in which they live. Its importance is reflected by its presence in the list of the Millennium Goals set by the UN. Inspired by the same ideals, Si Mokhtar Bellagha in his lifetime, has always encouraged people to continue their studies and granted to the education this ability to train responsible people. El Mokhtar association brings together people from all walks of sharing this vision on education and wishing to participate in the improvement of education of primary school pupils, secondary or post-secondary. Our action is to contact the schools who need help in order to organize and evaluate what the needs of the students. Donations and funds raised are used to buy school supplies for students or to be given in the form of scholarships for students in need.
