Born in 1986, AAB, the Association des Amis du Belvédère was created to oppose a mega road infrastructure project. this project would bisect a unique historical park in the city of Tunis: Belvedere Park
Since then, the AAB ensure the preservation of this unique natural and cultural heritage, lung of the capital Tunis, while meeting the needs of its users: cultural and sporting events, education on the environment, Supervision and training of young, participation in decision-making in various organizations: the city of Tunis on issues affecting the park, Ministry of Environment etc.
the target public of the AAB is very diverse and depend on the nature of the action or project: School and students, educators and youth workers, public informed on issues of sustainable development, riparian population of the park, the general public.
