The Association of Environment Kelibia (AEK) was founded in September 2001, Visa No. 612 published in the Official Journal of the Tunisian Republic 15 January 2002 No. 13.

AEK is a non-profit organization for environmental purposes and the first association working for the protection of the environment in the city of Kelibia in Tunisia.
