Mission
The U.S. Middle East Partnership Initiative’s (MEPI) mission is to empower partnerships between citizens, non-governmental organizations, the private sector and government institutions to promote common shared solutions for the people of the Middle East and North Africa.

Assistance Objectives
MEPI program responds to needs and emerging opportunities for citizens and organizations that target three core objectives:
– Participatory Governance
– Economic Reform
– Education Advancement
In addition, we support efforts to expand political participation, strengthen civil society and the rule of law, empower women and youth, create educational opportunities, and foster economic reform throughout the Middle East and North Africa. In support of these goals, MEPI works with non-governmental organizations, the private sector, and academic institutions, as well as governments.
