Strengthen the bonds of friendship , solidarity and fraternity between civil societies Tunisian and Italian in particular and between the peoples of the shore of the Mediterranean in general.
El Jesr (The Bridge) is a socio-cultural organisation which advocates for a peaceful culture based on tolerance and mutual relationships. Established in 2012, it conducts cultural events, ecological tours, concerts and radio programmes. El Jesr sees culture as a key aspect of openness and progress, and so promotes a strong cultural life and interest in order to fight intolerance, violence and agitation.
Its objectives are to:
- Strengthen relationships between civil society in Tunisia and Italy in particular, and among the peoples of the shore of the Mediterranean in general.
- Promote cultural exchanges between Tunisia and the countries of the Mediterranean to support intercultural dialogue between young members of Euro-Mediterranean countries.
- Strengthen the social and cultural Tunisian-Italian partnership
- Promote alternative tourism.
- Create economic and cultural opportunities.
- Opportunities bilateral meeting on the economic and cultural level.
