“Bizerte Cleaner” is an organizations that brings together ecologists, engineers, lawyers and doctors.
It works in the environmental sector.
The objectives of our association are:
* Contribute to the fight against industrial pollution.
* Contribute to the resolution of environmental problems and to mitigate their negative impacts.
* Contribute to the protection of marine and forest wealth.
* Promote actions with civil society, manufacturers and government agencies to preserve the environment and especially to fight against all forms of industrial pollution.
* Act as an intermediary between the population and industrial polluters to settle disputes in a friendly manner.
* Supervise the population living around industrial zones by adopting a scientific approach to address environmental problems by setting up rigorous monitoring programs.
* Explain to local people their environmental rights.
* Finding quick solutions to mitigate negative environmental impacts.
* Lobby the Tunisian authorities to make public consultations an integral part of any environmental impact study.
* Work with government agencies and civil society to improve the quality of life in areas adjacent to industrial sites.
* Promote job creation in the environmental sector.
