The Arab Center for the of the Rule of Law and Integrity (ACRLI) is a regional, non-governmental and non-for-profit organization established in 2003 by a number of leading legal professionals and public figures from the Arab countries. ACRLI is geared towards enhancing the Rule of Law and promoting Good Governance in the MENA region.

MISSION

ACRLI works towards anchoring the Rule of Law and the Fundamentals of Justice in Culture and in Practice in the MENA region, as prerequisites for Democratic, Social and Economic development and reform.

VISION

To reinforce ACRLI’s role as an Arab think tank and development organization contributing to the betterment of Arab societies through strengthening the Rule of Law and Integrity.

OBJECTIVES

  • To reinforce ACRLI’s role as an Arab think tank and development organization contributing to the betterment of Arab societies through strengthening the Rule of Law and Integrity.
  • To promote the culture of a ‘Right State’ built on the foundations of Rule of Law and Good Governance, and to disseminate knowledge thereof,
  • To enhance the Rule of Law and Integrity in the MENA region through implementing development projects where Human Rights are mainstreamed,
  • To act as a Regional watchdog that monitors and reports on the status of the Rule of Law and Integrity in the MENA region,
  • To generate actionable knowledge through initiating research and methodological approaches,
  • To foster dialogue among the various stakeholders at the National, Regional and International levels,
  • To advocate for identified reform priorities in front of the implicated stakeholders and decision makers,
  • To build the capacity of the implicated stakeholders in areas where needs are clearly articulated and identified.
