Down Syndrome Charitable Association

The initiative of establishing the association was launched with the encouragement of parents of children and those interested in the field. The aim was to rehabilitate and train children with Down Syndrome and their mothers and to support the entire family in the care of her child with Down Syndrome. The work started in 1999 under the name of the Saudi Charity Association for Education and Rehabilitation and continued to work for more than four years. Community media. Since 2002, the Association has set a long-term strategy aimed at achieving qualitative excellence in the level of services and programs offered to children and their families. Accordingly, work methods and models have been developed in line with the community, taking into consideration the nature of the social structure and balanced with the available resources and the needs required. The team adopted planning and implementation of modern scientific methods for all elements of services.

To achieve the greatest possible autonomy and social integration of individuals with Down Syndrome through the development and delivery of specialized training and rehabilitation programs in complementary with relevant institutions, both governmental and private.
