Women’s Association for Care and Social Networking "Sela" started as a humanitarian initiative to relieve women and children. The target that is usually affected most by poverty and different forms of suffering. These misfortunes leave severe and negative impacts on their economic and social well-being, as well as their physical and mental health.

Our Mission
Our mission is to empower women and build a promising future for children under the slogan “develop women leaders and create a safe childhood.”

Our Vision
Sela hopes to be a global role model in the field of empowering women and children. Moreover, show the world the true potential of women and children through implementing various projects and programs with transparency and professionalism.

Goals
1. Assist women and children in developing and building their capabilities and skills.
2. Help women achieve Self-efficacy through financial assistance.
3. Engage women in development and social services.
4. Provide professional care and support for women and children.
5. Spread the culture of volunteerism.
6. Promote social solidarity through establishing effective communication.

Sela was launched to answer the calls of the many deprived women in Lebanon, the ones who long for the kind support.
These women have no breadwinners or income to face the challenges of life and the harsh living conditions.

Sela aims to connect with the women and children, the vulnerable, and average-income people. In cooperation and partnerships with humanitarian, charity local and international associations plus volunteers, Sela contributed in the past five years under its four different programs (Raghad, Ola, Nada, and Dania) to empower, train, develop, support, and relief 121,986 women, children, and families with love and dignity.

The main implemented projects as part of our leading programs are as following: Raghad: Khoyout Factory, Hand Embroidery, Microcredits, Sewing Machines, Accessories Making, Shu-Zaki (Tasty Kitchen Project), Inspirational Stories, etc.)
Ola: educational projects (You Saved Me a Spark, Fighting Illiteracy, Go Ahead), awareness sessions, various workshops, etc.
Nada: Happy Together, Houses Renovation, health related projects,
various activities, etc.
Dania: Ramadan/ Adha-Eid Campaigns, Winter Campaigns, Back to
School Campaigns, various projects (Household Supplies, Tend to
their Needs, Mother’s Embrace, Vulnerable Cases, etc.)
