War Child

War Child believes in the power of children and young people, however much they have been damaged by war as well. Strength to overcome the impact of their experiences. Power to influence their own future and that of their environment positively. War Child programs to help war children develop strength. Preparing them, are also stronger at possible new conflicts.

The proven War Child programs are based on creative methods and their own active participation of children and their social environment. Music, theater, sports, as weapons against anxiety, depression and aggression. build mutual trust. give a voice and gain. strengthen social structures. Together create the environment that respects the child’s rights. With parents, schools, local leaders. But above all with the children themselves.

War Child is committed to:

The stimulating psychological and social development of children affected by war;
Protect children from the effects of armed conflict, violence, exploitation, profound experiences.
to provide education;
To ensure that these children are heard. Their vote counts!

Because of the large number of children can not go to school, War Child has decided to focus solely on innovative education in Sudan. This we decided because we believe that education is crucial for the stable psychosocial development of children growing up in war zones. However, one of the biggest challenges is to reach children, the poor infrastructure. The expectation is that will not improve the infrastructure in the near future. War Child tries to ensure that all children have access to quality education so that they can contribute to a better future for themselves and their surroundings.
