Created in 1947, the Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts is the national employer central; it brings together the professional structures of the various non-agricultural economic sectors (Manufacturing, Retail, Services, Crafts and Small Trades).
UTICA represents almost 150 000 private companies from all sectors (with the exception of Tourism and the banking and financial sector). Most of these member companies consists of SMEs. UTICA more than 25,000 union officials. Our mission centers on actions to promote and invigorate the private sector, while the spokesman of enterprises with public authorities.
