UNICEF (or Fonds International de Secours à l'Enfance in French) is present in Tunisia for over 50 years. It provides support to sustain the gains, improve service quality and address the remaining challenges in the areas of health, education and protection of children and their rights. Special attention is given to support programs targeting the most disadvantaged: neglected children and vulnerable adolescents in school and youth break with risky behavior .. and to promote the effective participation of children and young people in all decisions affecting them.UNICEF is working with government partners that ensure the co-responsibility of the strategic directions of the cooperation program and its implementation, and with civil society (associations, NGOs). UNICEF attaches great importance to corporate social responsibility in achieving overall development objectives and those relating to children in particular. As such, the organization has developed a mobilization of the private sector strategy that has resulted in the establishment of partnership agreements with several companies.
