objectives
After the Tunisian Revolution of 2011, a statement must be made: the fall of the dictator Ben Ali failed to pass a people who lived in more than five decades of dictatorship mentality to that topic citizen. The democratic functioning and the rights and duties of citizens remain a vague concept especially among young people. Tunisian Youth Parliament is a response to these needs to train future citizens and leaders of tomorrow. Based on the European Parliament model Youth (PEJ), the Tunisian Youth Parliament is a project that encourages young people to have their own say in shaping the future of their country and provides the opportunity to participate in an experiment practical and educational. The goals are:
• Learning citizenship;
• Learning the parliamentary processes;
• Learn to respect differences, and work together for the common good;
• Learn to negotiate, discuss and convince;
• Encourage young people to participate in civic, social and democratic and to take initiatives;
• Opportunity to discuss national and international issues;
• Develop recommendations for governments
