The Sri Lankan Community Social Club was established in 1997 to fulfill social, cultural and sporting needs of Sri Lankans resident in Oman and to foster understanding and fellowship among its members. The club has matured over the years and now boasts a spacious club grounds at the Oman Automobile Association premises in Seeb and an administrative clubhouse in Madinat Qaboos. The club grounds consists of a children’s playground, recreational buildings, a volleyball court, a stage for performances and club functions with a spacious shaded area for spectators.
