Inception : our Association was established in 2006 in Jordan-Amman by a council included nine women ,and formed three committees (cultural, social, media) , it contributed in serving Syrian woman as a mother, a daughter, a wife and a student through establishing a developing and a productive projects. And through guaranteeing Syrian expatriate families, providing college education for many of their sons and making lot of courses and activities to rehabilitate Syrian women culturally, socially and economically With the beginning of the Syrian Revolution in 2011Syrian woman association was the first women's organization forming a relief committee sponsored Syrian refugees in Jordan.
In the beginning two years of the revolution our association was able to provide assistance to more than 20 thousand refugee families , 1400 of them are orphans and more than 700 are widows and wife of detained and missing .
Many of Syrian women in various parts of the world joined the organization, so there were the Syrian Women Association in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Sudan and Sweden, and now in Turkey and Syria.

1- Work to make Syrian Women Association the first institution in Syria that can meet the needs of women .
2- Promote the moral and virtuous values in society
3- Identify the problems of Syrian women and strive to find solutions
4- Prepare and train Syrian women to play their role in building the family and society and work to empower women in economic and social fields
5- cooperate and coordinate with other Syrian , Arab and international organizations and associations working in the same field .
