The Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah was established under the Emiri Decree No. (24) of the year 2000, and consists of departments working in the field of social and cultural development and the protection of the family and the care and rehabilitation of its members, namely: Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, Sharjah Ladies Club, Department of Children and Girls Centers, Department of Family Development Centers, Youth Centers Management, General Secretariat, Health Promotion.
