" SOS BIAA " is an association of engineers, lawyers and doctors. It operates in the environmental sector.

Our association was founded a few months after the January 14 Revolution. During the post revolution, we noted that "sit-in" in several industrial sites (cement, household and industrial waste landfills

The objectives of our association are:

Promote activities with civil society, industry and government agencies to protect the environment and especially the fight against all forms of industrial pollution.
Act as intermediary between people and industrial polluters to settle preserved in a friendly way.
Frame the populations living near industrial areas by adopting a scientific approach to address environmental issues through the implementation of rigorous monitoring programs.
Explain to local people their rights.
Find quick solutions to mitigate environmental impacts,
To pressure the Tunisian authorities to ensure that public consultations are becoming an integral part of any environmental impact study
Working with government agencies and civil society to improve the quality of life in areas adjacent to industrial sites.
Promote job creation in the environmental sector.
