SONYO is committed to mobilize the youth sector’s participation in decision making; political empowerment; protecting human/ child rights; furthering youth opportunities in education, health, culture, sports and committed to working for the environment and gender issues.SONYO will work towards the creation of a democratic, sustainable and gender sensitive nationwide umbrella organization that will fully mobilize the youth population to actively participate in Somaliland development strengthening the civil society movement through active participation in political issues, transformation of the country’s socio-cultural situation and uplifting the economic conditions with the long term aim of improving the youth situation.
