Ricerca e Cooperazione

Founded in 1985, Ricerca e Cooperazione promotes development programmes believing that each one of us has the right to a decent life, a fundamental element to reduce conflicts and level existing disparities.

Developing and implementing long term projects, based on country programmes developed on site with the participation of local partners and institutions, Ricerca e Cooperazione wants to protect and promote cultural and environmental heritage under threat of disappearing, act in favour and support of fundamental rights, and sensitise civil society to the disparities between north and south.

RC operates in those countries where partnerships, experience and knowledge allow the organization to act in respect of local cultures: Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Egypt and Morocco, in the Mediterranean Basin; Ghana, Benin Togo and Malawi in Africa; Bolivia, Colombia and Argentina in Latin America. RC is accredited by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAECI) since 1986 and has been implementing projects in partnership with the European Commission (EU) since 1988. RC has carried out projects in conjunction with, among others, the UNDP, IFAD, UNICEF and FAO.
