Palestinian Federation of Women’s Action Committees

The Palestinian Federation of Women’s Action Committees is a democratic public framework that works to unite the Palestinian public in the struggle for national liberation and independence in order to improve their economic, social, health and cultural conditions and defend their rights to equal work and equal opportunities in education, health, personal development and consecrating their role and position in society. The Declaration of Independence issued by the nineteenth session of the Palestinian National Council in 1988, which emphasized equality between men and women and in the document of principles on the rights of Palestinian women announced by the General Union of Women The Palestinian Women’s Union (PFW) as a unified national framework that represents Palestinian women and unifies their national bases in the struggle for the right to return to their homeland, self-determination and building. It believes in the independence of its state and Jerusalem as its capital.
