An NGO and a non-profit, Bender Djedid is for socio-economic development. It has more than 150 active members and a dozen associations or partner organizations in the Republic of Djibouti itself or abroad.

There are three operational objectives:

Develop programs and projects to contribute to the development of the country.
Mobilize human, material and financial resources for the benefit of these programs and projects.
INDS (National Initiative for Social Development), poverty alleviation, access to water, health, education, the environment and the advancement of women.
The promotion of Human Rights alongside the CNDH (National Human Rights Commission), with the support of technical and financial partners, while respecting the objectives of the Organization, as well as treaties and conventions International agreements signed or ratified by the country.

The NGO Bender Djedid designs and conducts its actions in the spirit of sustainable development. It takes into account both the social, economic, ecological and cultural dimensions.
Strengthen the Organization's capacity to best meet its commitments.
The NGO Bender Djedid acts within the framework of national strategic axes.
