ONG Secours Net in Mauritania

AID Net is a Mauritanian association active since March 2004 and recognized by receipt No. 555 of 25 March 2008 of the Ministry of Interior. She works for the promotion of entrepreneurship, human rights and a useful use of the resources offered by Information Technology.

The NGO Secours Net has worked on several community projects:

  • Entrepreneurit training and mentoring young people in poor neighborhoods in collaboration with the Peace Corps
  • Design and implemented the project Sebkha sustainable youth Insert, in partnership with World Vision Mauritania
  • Awareness of young people in entrepreneurial culture,
  • Several celebrations of the International Day of Human Rights, in disadvantaged neighborhoods of Nouakchott,
  • Awareness of school children youth and teachers on the International Convention on Children’s Rights,
  • Organizing events open Internet Mauritanian desert in collaboration with the French NGO Citizens Streets,
  • Feasibility studies for integration of young people and women projects
  • technical support to civil society organizations,
  • Distribution equipment and school supplies,
  • Establishment of an Internet center in a neighborhood (Socogim PS) poor Nouakchott.
