Assembly aims to collect those interested in astronomy in Oman for the purpose of sharing and dissemination of knowledge in this area through a series of workshops and meetings for members and interested parties. Also it concerned with monitoring the importance of astronomical events and the general public by the definition in the evenings to monitor several throughout the year. It also encourages interest in astronomy in educational institutions for the purpose of expanding the circle of scientific culture and satisfy the curiosity of the youth of Oman.
