The municipality of Furn El Chebback – Ain El Remaneh – Tohwitet El Naher was founded in June 3, 1922 by Decree No. 1379 made by the President Mr Trabeau. The municipality is located in the Kaza of Baabda, bordered by Sin El Fil, Hazmiyeh, Chiah and Beirut.
General objective of the municipality is: to contribute to the development of the region on all levels: social, economic, sanitary, and environmental.
