Founded in 2005, the MIT Enterprise Forum Pan Arab is one of the 28 worldwide chapters of the MIT Enterprise Forum Global, an avid promoter of entrepreneurship and innovation worldwide.
The MIT Enterprise Forum- Pan Arab has a proven record in promoting MIT-style entrepreneurship by organizing:
I. The MIT Enterprise Forum Arab Startup Competition, in partnership with Abdul Latif Jameel Community Initiatives and Zain: As One of the biggest entrepreneurship competitions in the region receiving 5,000 applications each year from 21 of the Arab countries, besides prize money, the competition engages entrepreneurs in training, mentorship, exposure and networking.
So far, the Competition has trained more than 1,500 entrepreneurs and has created over 250 knowledge based jobs. It receives applications in 4 different tracks: Ideas, Startups, Social Entrepreneurship, and The Silicon Valley Program in 3 different languages: English, Arabic and French.

• Creating a high-impact pan Arab network of Angels
