This association comes after a long process going back to 2004.
At that time, our goal was the preservation of heritage, architectural and environmental exceptional Mégrine. But we were not able to make this happen.
The conditions being more favorable, and the most pressing needs, we decided to take our initiative with more vigor.
We know that the associative approach has lost much credibility these recent years, given the manipulation by the former regime and the use of this fabric for partisan purposes. We want then build a new era of freedom and citizenship, based on trust and the union.
AMIS is thus a combination that will allow to group mégrinoises and mégrinois in a union for the good of their town.
Mission
– Building a culture of social complementarity between the inhabitants of Mégrine, and strengthen their sense of citizenship
– Supervise and guide or assist the youth of our city in the creation of small businesses
– Reconciling mégrinoise youth with youth centers, cultural centers and sports associations
– To enrich and strengthen the cultural and sports programs
– Preserve the architectural features of the city
– Implement an environmental culture within the city
– Finding solutions to the negative impacts of urban and economic growth on the quality of life in the town
