MAP Jordan

The Jordan Medical Aid For Palestinians (MAP) was established in 1990 and registered with the Ministry of Social Development. It has been established for about decades and provides medical assistance to Palestinians living in camps in Jordan. It is a sister organization of the Medical Aid Society for Palestinians in London, founded in 1984, which serves Palestinians living under occupation in the West Bank and Gaza as well as those who have been displaced to southern Lebanon. The goals of the association are purely humanitarian and have nothing to do with political or partisan parties.

His Royal Highness Prince Al Hassan Bin Talal has been honored to receive the Honorary Presidency of the Society since 1990. The Board of Trustees is chaired by His Excellency Mr. Munib Rasheed Al Masri. The Association provides medical support (administrative and specialized medical advisory as well as technical assistance for approximately 1,400,000 most of whom are patients and in need of support.

Providing high quality, integrated and continuous health services to meet the needs of Palestine refugees.

Objectives

  • Providing health centers within the Palestinian camps to be the first and continuous point of contact for obtaining safe and accessible medical care services
  • Enabling beneficiaries to receive free medical treatments or medicines at a nominal price commensurate with their financial potential
  • Establish effective relationships with partners in the Jordanian and international community to improve primary health care and health awareness programs
  • Communicate with the community and organize free medical days for checkups and enable volunteer doctors to support the association
