Authority means with the help of victims of disasters and to provide humanitarian aid for the most vulnerable

Founded in 2006 in the city of Benghazi.

The first strategic objective:

Preserving the unity of action programming, implementation and monitoring of projects and humanitarian programs decided by the Libyan people to contribute to the
Improve the social, health and humanitarian conditions for the disaster victims and the most vulnerable groups to ease suffering and to live with dignity

Achieve the national interest of Libya in light of trends Libyan people benevolent and pledges and covenants that Libya is a party.
