LCAC is a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization established in 2006 in Tripoli. We envision a dynamic society of empowered citizens who are asserting their rights and shouldering their social responsibilities. Our mission is to kindle and nurture active citizenship among the youth of Tripoli and North Lebanon, a region classified by UNDP as the poorest and most underdeveloped in Lebanon.
