We are an NGO found in 2007 and located in Koura, North- Lebanon., “The Lebanese Association For Human and Nature Protection (LAFHNP).

Our Organization aims at:

Protecting and safeguarding the environment,
Finding solutions to current environmental problems
Improving environmental and human conditions in local communities,
We are trying to implement our objectives through:

Increasing awareness on environmental and health issues by inducting seminars.
Improving the agriculture of olive trees in Koura by providing free compost to olive farmers.
Olive oil waste management.
Forest management program to halt wood cutting.
Reforestation of some green areas that were burnt during recent fire.
Providing free medicines or samples to poor people.
Providing free of charge tests for chronic diseases such as osteoporosis.
Our latest projects were:

1. Conducting seminars for the olive Farmer
2. Printing a document in order to help the olive farmer improving the oil quality.
3. Donation of a fire fighting system for the Rhdbeen village
4. Donation of a small car for the municipality of kafarhazir in order to help them act against cutting trees and high speed,
5. Distribution of free of charge compost to all the farmers who are recently shifting to the use of compost as fertilizer instead of the old fashion techniques.
