The Tunisian League of Women Voters (LET) is an association founded in 2011 after the revolution of 14 J anuary. This association is the result of a meeting of a group of women in their various fields of activity, but united in their awareness of the importance of women's role in supporting the electoral practice. The members of the ETA also believe in the importance of political participation of young women and men to make the dream of democracy a reality in Tunisia. Our Vision To live in a democratic society that guarantees equality in the exercise of right to be a voter (ice) or candidate (s). Our mission Improve the ability of women to effective participation in public affairs, especially in politics, as voters and candidates. In addition, The ETA wants to help women in their contribution to the achievement of an electoral exercise based on the principles and standards of human rights and social kind. Our goals - Empowering women to be active in the community local, national and international levels. - to train young trainers in the field of awareness electoral practice. - Strengthening joint actions between different actors interested in the participation of women as voters or candidates in . elections Our Values We believe in: full equality between women and men parity between women and men in all areas citizenship for all Tunisians without discrimination participatory democracy that includes citizens in decision making at all levels in the voting rights and right to the nomination, which are the only democratic means to represent them as citizens and exercise power.
