An international movement of young makers player in economic and community development of their environment.

In 1959, during a visit to the United States of America, Dr. Salah El Mehdi also met the President of the Young Chamber Ohio State in USA. Thus he got the constitutive documents and the working method of the Junior Chamber. Back in Tunis, the file is referred to M.Ferjani BelhajAmmar, President of UTICA at the time.
On February 2, 1961 was held the founding congress of the Junior Chamber of Tunisia. A steering committee consisting of 24 members elected M.Hassib Ben Ammar, first president of JCI Tunisia followed by Mr Foued Mbazaa becomes the following president of the Republic of Tunisia after the Jasmine Revolution.
In 1969, Raouf Sanhadji, National President of the Junior Chamber International of Tunisia, introduced the temporary membership package JCI Tunisia, aided in this task by members of the French delegation, particularly those of the JCI Lyon.
A year later, in 1970, Chadli ZOUITEN, National Vice President, attended the work of the Junior Chamber International of Dublin and presented the application of the definitive JCE Tunisia. Since then, JCI Tunisia became permanent full member of JCI.
